Superpowers:

Amaterasu can paint with ink using her tail, which allows her to use many magical brush techniques.

Sunrise/Crescent - In Okami, these two abilities allow Amaterasu to alter the time of day to either Day or Night by drawing a sun or moon in the sky. In game this will be limited to creating the appearance of day or night in a 500 foot radius.

Rejuvenation - Restores damaged objects to their original condition.

Power Slash - Can be used to slash through fees or solid rock.

Greensprout- Consists of three related abilities. Bloom causes plants to grow and bloom, Water lily creates a rideable lily pad when used on water, and Vine causes grasping vines to grow from a specific plant called a Konohana blossom

Cherry Bomb - Creates a large firework.

Waterspout - Can be used to manipulate but not create water.

Galestorm - Caused high-powered gusts of wind.

Inferno - Can be used to manipulate but not create fire.

Veil of Mist - Slows down time in a 500 foot radius for four seconds.

Catwalk - Lets Amaterasu walk up walls

Thunderstorm - Can be used to manipulate bit not create electricity.

Blizzard - Can be used to manipulate but not create ice.

Additionally Amaterasu is capable of double-jumping.


Limitations: Many of Amaterasu's brush techniques, like Waterspout, Inferno, Thunderstorm, and Blizzard require access to the elements they manipulate. Due to Konohana Blossoms not existing outside of Amaterasu's version of Nippon, Vine won't work.

Additionally, she doesn't have an infinite supply of ink
While it does regenerate, it's at a rate far slower than she uses it up. This means she has to use the brush techniques sparingly.

Sunrise and Crescent require Amaterasu access to visible sky to use.

Personality —

Amaterasu is not the most dignified of deities. She can certainly appear as such, due to being an ethereal white wolf, but that's an illusion. She will jump up and lick people's faces, drool on people who annoy her, and fall asleep in the middle of important conversations. Not to mention her use of Golden Fury and Brown Rage, which are ultimately fancy ways of referring to her urinating and defecating on her enemies.

Regardless of her general lack of decorum, there are very few more dedicated to protecting the world and those who inhabit it than her. She's traveled the length and breadth of Nippon, and even in time, to protect it.

That said, she doesn't have a great attention span. If someone's taking too long to explain something, or is explaining something she already knows, she'll take a nap like previously mentioned, play around, or just straight up wander off. Part of this is due to the fact that she's generally more aware of everything going on than anyone else.

She loves animals and people, frequently feeding the former and playing with the latter when she gets the chance.

Despite her mission to save Nippon, she's more than willing to help with various minor unrelated issues. She repairs things, helps people, and clears up minor curses all across Nippon while in her journey. She's also has no problem using her awesome powers for incredibly minor purposes, having once gone as far as changing the position of the sun to dry someone's laundry.

She's also not afraid to make her opinion known, though she sometimes has issues communicating it due to not being able to speak. She'll chomp on Issun when he's acting up too much, and has no qualms about visibly reacting to bad smells, and she growls at even the most minor insult. She's also not really a fan of baths.

Gameplay —

Areas of Interest / Brainstorming: My initial plan is for her to go by her own name on various social media networks but only communicate in text and memes, and also maintain an Instagram where she pretends that instead of being a wolf, her wolf form is her pet dog. I'm not sure yet if she's joining a guild or not.
